St Mary the Virgin, Little Chart
In the ’fifties a new church was built in the village, to replace the old Little Chart Church, wrecked by a V1 Flying Bomb during the Second World War.
The Village
Introduction
The parish of Little Chart covers 1,485 acres of attractive countryside. The Great Stour river makes a natural division between Surrenden Park, formerly the property of the Dering family, and Calehill.
